Domain named gold rush on the horizon and Legal update
Over at domain name yahoo it is valid. I would say that it is past due to happen again. What do you think that spiraled kind of information is worth?

Under the draft proposals anyone would be allowed to apply for a generic top level domain (gTLD), resulting in an unlimited number of gTLDs. Currently, there are a limited number of gTLDs, including .Com.Net and .Gov (and .Com.au.Net.au and .Gov.au in Australia), which are strictly controlled by ICANN and each country's ..keep reading.

Social news site Propeller (formerly known as Netscape) has relaunched today with not only an entirely new look and feel, but a new method for determining the buzz worthiness of news. Going is the straight-up voting style that main rival Digg made popular, in its place is a rating-scale more akin to Yahoo Buzz. The new system rates stories on a scale of 1 to 10 (basically their "buzz"). It appears that taken into account is the number of "Props" it has (votes), the number of comments it has .. read the rest part.

Michael Geist recently reported that Rogers, an internet service provider, has changed its approach for failed DNS lookups, which happens when an internet user types in a domain name that does not resolve. Now, instead of reaching a standard error page, Rogers' customers are being redirected to a sponsored page that contains links to Rogers' content, paid search results, and additional Yahoo! Search results. Whenever a redirect happens, Rogers explains to the user that "these search results ..next.
